Southern AIDS Coalition (SAC) is convening a webinar to discuss the findings from the recent report “The Effect of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Organizations Providing Services for People Living with HIV and Gender and Sexual Minorities in the Deep South“. The report was a collaboration between SAC, Gilead Compass Initiative, and Duke University researchers, to gain a greater understanding of how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted vulnerable populations in the South.

During the webinar, the researcher will present the report findings. The panel of experts will discuss the impacts of the pandemic on their organizations. Participants will discuss the ideas for a strategic plan to combat losses and further disparities in PLWH in the South, created by pandemics.
